Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a simple, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry procedure to improve the appearance of your teeth. At The Dental Suite, we specialise in composite bonding treatments that transform smiles by correcting chips, cracks, gaps, and discolouration. Our team of experienced dentists use high-quality composite resin to improve the shape, size, and colour of your teeth, achieving a natural-looking and beautiful result.

What is Composite Bonding?

Composite bonding is a cosmetic treatment that involves applying a tooth-coloured composite resin to the teeth. This resin is carefully sculpted and bonded to the surface of your teeth, allowing our dentists to shape and contour each tooth to perfection. Unlike other cosmetic procedures, composite bonding does not require the removal of healthy tooth structure, making it a popular choice for patients seeking a less invasive way to improve their smile.

Benefits of Composite Bonding

  • Non-Invasive: Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding requires minimal preparation and does not involve removing natural tooth enamel.

  • Affordable: Composite teeth bonding is more cost-effective compared to other cosmetic treatments, making it accessible for many patients.

  • Quick and Convenient: Most composite bonding treatments can be completed in a single appointment, providing instant results.

  • Natural Aesthetics: The composite resin is colour-matched to your teeth, ensuring a seamless blend for a natural look.

Composite Bonding Cost

The cost of composite bonding typically varies depending on the number of teeth treated and the complexity of the procedure. At The Dental Suite, composite bonding costs €250 per tooth.

The Process for Bonding Teeth

  1. Consultation and Assessment: During your initial consultation, our dental team will assess your teeth and discuss your desired outcome. We'll provide expert recommendations tailored to your unique smile.

  2. Preparation and Colour Matching: We select a composite resin shade that matches your natural tooth colour to ensure a flawless result.

  3. Application and Shaping: The composite resin is applied to the teeth, shaped, and contoured by our skilled dentists to create your desired look.

  4. Polishing and Finishing: Once the composite is hardened and bonded, it is polished to blend perfectly with your natural teeth.

Composite Bonding vs Veneers

When considering cosmetic treatments, many patients weigh the options of cosmetic bonding vs veneers. Composite bonding is often preferred for minor corrections due to its affordability and non-invasive nature. Veneers, however, may be a better option for more extensive smile makeovers, particularly if you’re looking for a longer-lasting solution.
